Car travel this weekend Orange Beach

I'm headed to the beaches of Orange Beach this weekend. The OT has me nervous about gas shortages over there. Can anyone over there now tell me if this is just a bunch of media hype or should I bring some extra gas cans with me?

I think you will be fine, as it is here in BR. Not sure where youre coming in from but maybe fill up in Mississippi before you hit the beach towns where everyone is vacationing and panic buying gas

Funny, everyone yesterday in Pascagoula was filling up their boats. But no shortage that I've seen.

Heading out to OB Saturday as well. We will leave home on a full tank and try to top off again before leaving Mississippi

From reading another thread in the OT, the Buc-ee's in Robertsdale, AL right before the OB exit has gas. Will for sure be swinging thru for some fudge, jerky n gas
