American's website says you need a negative Covid test to fly. Are all airlines still requiring this if you are fully vaccinated?

Depends on where you're going. If you're flying domestic I think Hawaii is the only state requiring tests

Not vaccinated and didn't show a test when I last few a few weeks ago. Maybe it depends on the destination?

Sorry. Going to Colorado. Thanks for responding.
Maybe American has just not updated their website.

I think it depends on the destination. We are flying to the USVI next week and we need negative tests to enter.

If this is true, I need to pay attention.
I’m flying to Denver next week and LAX the following week.
I flew on AA not long ago and masks were required but not a COVID test or vaccine.

That's where I went. Didn't hear anything like this. Flew with American

No requirement at all to fly domestically except Hawaii. International is a different ballgame.
But flying around the lower 48 and Alaska? Business as usual aside from the mask mandate.

I had to do a double take when I read it on American’s website the other day. The emphasis is on the word “to” in the statement as opposed to “within.” For example if you were in Europe and flew to the US, then you would need a test.
quote:
Testing requirements for travel to the U.S. Expand The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) requires all passengers flying to the U.S., including U.S. citizens, show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 3 days of departure, or documentation of recovery. This does not apply to children under 2 years old.

I flew to Cancun on American last week and didn’t have to show a negative test to get there. We did have to have a negative test to come back.

Got back from Denver last night. Flew United. Only a mask is needed

I have flown internationally four times since COVID. My experiences:
Ecuador (November): COVID test.
Peru (December): COVID test, pain in the arse online travel declaration in Spanish prior to departure, and a face shield (in addition to the mask) for the flight.
Brazil (December): Nothing.
Iceland (May): Vaccination card, test on arrival, quarantine until test is confirmed, test before departure home.
Nothing but masks on the plane for my domestic flights.
