Neighbors Game Cam Facing my fence.

Long story- I have a shooting range on my property, with the backstop 10 feet south of my North fence. My shooting "Lane" is down an old abandoned railroad bed, which is perfect because trees block both sides. However, beyond my fence is 2- 700 acres properties, and their N-S property line is the center of the railbed. The guy to the west is a punk trust fund baby, and asked me in a not so nice manner to move my range, since he feels "threatened." I didn't respond, but was planning on increasing my backstop size anyway. When I went out there this morning I noticed he has a game cam facing the fence line, pointed towards my target, about 20 yards onto his property. Is this legal in Texas? And yes, I know the safety rules. I'm a huge reloader and shooter, have been for years. Also, there's about a 15 ft tall berm that runs between the railbed and his pastures, and no buildings in any danger of being hit.
ETA- The nearest building is 4/10 mile away, at a 45 degree angle from my bullet path. Also, I live in a heavily treed area.

I’d put a game cam facing his game cam.

Put a mirror facing his cam. Then sneak a cam facing the mirror.

As long as his camera is on his property I'm not sure why you have a problem, especially if you are not breaking any laws. It's not like you live in a cookie cutter neighborhood and he has a cam facing your daughters bedroom window

Why would this be illegal?
I wouldn't be too happy with someone shooting towards my property with the backstop within 10 feet of the property line. You may be the safest person ever but how would any one know that and accidents do happen.

How many acres is your property?
Posted on 6/3/21 at 3:57 pm to LJack00
how big is the backstop you have built up?

20 acres, and my backstop is 8 feet wide by 8 feet tall, made of 3 layers- 3/4 inch plywood, 1/16" steel plate, and then telephone poles stacked like a log cabin.

I did put up my own cam, to see if he trespasses. I also hung a 5 gallon bucket lid from a limb in view of his cam. Every time the breeze hits it his cam will take a pic. Enjoy the 5000 pics of a swinging lid!

you should have some bullet holes in said lid and make him wonder.

Your backstop is 1 layer of telephone poles. Plywood and sheet metal ain't stopping shite.
Did you at least backfill the logs with earth or just stack them?
ETA: Why the downvotes? I speak the truth. Would you stand behind sheet metal and plywood and let me shoot .22LR at you? At least if the log cabin arrangement is backfilled, there's SOME extra stopping power.

How does it feel to be that neighbor?

It’s exciting hearing “crack-thump” while out in your yard.

Ain’t a person on here that wouldn’t have at least a slight problem with their neighbor that owns 20 acres shooting rifles toward their property from ground level

If I had a shooting range facing my property only 10 feet from the line yes I would have a problem with that. I wouldnt put a camera up but I would have a problem with it.
Now If you had a back stop then a good 100 yards of your timber between us I’m cool with it.
