trivia question...this year, former tiger teammates mike fontenot and ryan theriot are chicago cubs teammates...is this maybe the first time in mlb history two college teammates are also teammates on a major league club???

maybe last year when they played together.

No. Nomar and Veritek, and Morgan Ensberg and Jason Lane (formerly of the Astros) are just some off the top of my head and I'm sure there are many, many more.

Hell, I'm pretty sure it was done by two other LSU Tigers in Brian Wilson and Billy Sadler earlier this season in San Francisco.
