I don’t understand what the LPGA is doing?

This is like my 3rd LPGA thread in a few weeks I dk what my deal is
But they’ve got this team up best ball/alternate shot tourney going on. The Open ends at 3, you get the afternoon spotlight, you make the tee times for the first 2 days of your tournament, and you’ve got a team of your two brightest stars, the Korda sisters, one of them JUST won a major, and they’re done with their round before the Open viewing window ends?!?!?!? Not just the Korda’s; Lydia Ko, Danielle Kang, Lexi Thompson, Brittany Lincicome, all done with their rounds before your tournament comes on TV, what are they thinking?

They almost certainly don't get to choose. You would think they'd choose to be in primetime every week if it were up to them.

I don’t mean they get to choose when they’re on TV, but they get to choose when the players tee off just like the PGA does. I’m assuming they’ve known for a long time that the Open will be over by 3ish in America and they would be on golf channel in the afternoon

They aren't going to be on TV either way and team events take forever so what's the point of fighting darkness for no reason?

Are they doing tee time waves? If so, they'll be on TV tomorrow.

I thought that too but for whatever reason the first day was yesterday

Because on Friday, they will be in the pm tee slot. Makes more sense to be the PM prime time than Thursday, no?
