10 Team 0.5 PPR 4th Pick

We can keep two players from last season. Currently I have:
McLaurin for a 6th
Lamb for a 12th

Other options are:
Ekeler for a 2nd
Carson for a 3rd
Andrews for a 5th
Kupp for a 7th
Higgins for an 11th
Ronald Jones for an 11th
Aiyuk for an 11th
Damien Harris for an 11th

I’m considering switching McLaurin for Ekeler because most of the top RBs are being kept. At RB I’d be looking at Barkley, Mixon, Harris, or Gibson with my 1st round pick or a top WR like Hill(maybe), Diggs, Ridley, Jefferson, or Brown. I’m thinking that I would be able to put together a better team with Ekeler in the 2nd and Lamb in the 12th even though McLaurin is great value in the 6th. What are your thoughts and who would you keep given my situation?

I think your best value is Lamb and Ekeler.

Thanks. That’s where I was leaning. Other option I was thinking was Ekeler for a 2nd and Carson for a 3rd. I could get a top WR in the 1st but Ekeler and Carson would be my starters. Also, it’s hard to pass on Lamb for a 12th.

I admit here often I don't play in 10-team leagues, so my contribution is weighted.

I think Lamb here for a 12th is by far the best value. Carson wouldn't be in my wheelhouse value-wise.

Ekeler and 1st round pick on one of the RBs you mentioned will be a great foundation.

Which RB would you take in the 1st out of Barkley, Mixon, Harris, or Gibson? Barkley concerns me because of how bad his injury was. Mixon always gets a lot of preseason hype but doesn’t really produce. I think that’s more on Cincy’s O-line though. Same thing with Harris. Pitt’s O-line isn’t great but, I think Harris will be a workhorse back if he can stay healthy.

Good question, and I've struggled with some of this in drafts I've had - including passing on Barkley depending on league.

If you have faith in Barkley recovery and can possibly withstand initial lighter usage, he's #1.

Harris and Gibson are both very intriguing and have equal arguments. Mixon as well, but he'd likely be my #4.

It's a pretty good position to be in, imo. Go with your gut or if you play in multiple leagues, sometimes you mix it up?

Our draft is tomorrow so I wanted to check in with a few updates and ask for some opinions.

First, I switched McLaurin in the 6th for Ekeler in the 2nd. I felt like that was my best bet.

I get up today and just saw where Sony Michel was traded to the Rams. This has got to make Damien Harris' value go up a good bit. Would any of you consider giving Ekeler up in the 2nd for Harris in the 11th? That would give me Harris and Lamb in the 11th and 12th rounds.

Today is the last day to declare keepers for this league or to make changes to keepers.

Higgins is a better value than Harris in the 11th. I’d rank the values

1. Lamb
2. Higgins
3. terry
4. ekeler
5. Harris

I agree with Dallas here overall. Lamb is a no-brainer to me for a 12th. Higgins would probably be my 2nd choice, but I know people get concerned about RB scarcity, so if that's how you feel, it's Ekeler.
