How will know if the new US Ryder Cup generation really is that committed.

Much has been said about how this team embraces the Ryder Cup and being part of a team, more like the Europeans have done so long. You can't watch the emotion of McIlroy and Poulter without seeing how much it means to them, I believe that's to be true now of this US team, more than in the past.
Here's where I think you'll see the proof though. With 2022 scheduled to be in Italy, see how many of the Americans build time into their schedules to fly to Italy for practice rounds in the weeks before. There's a good chance that most, if not all, of the Americans, will have never played that course before. If the Ryder Cup really means that much to them, they'll make a trip to play practice rounds a priority and will put it in their schedule.
I hope they do.

I think the better indication would be building time in their schedule to play a professional event there. JT did it at Le Golf before the 2018 Ryder Cup.

We just beat the Euros by the largest margin ever, and were talking about if this team "wants it" or not?
Stop listening to media members and their bullshite. This team obviously wanted to win and did in extraordinary fashion.
FFS, Scotty Scheffler got sacrificed to John Rham and went and beat his arse 4&3.

Nah - Scotty whipped him 3 & 1 earlier this year in a WGC event - Scheffler had been there, done that.

The Italian Open in 2022 will be held at Marco Simone Sept 1-4 which is the week after the tour championship ...will probably not get top Americans heading over there to see/play course after the run up to East Lake...the Italian Open in 2023 is scheduled there also but no date has been set...I'm sure the US captain will try to get players to go play course week before or after the British Open...

Rahm wasn't on the run then he is now. He's been a different beast since the Memorial. That's not taking anything away from Scheffler as the guy just seems to rise to the occasion at the big events. I like the core of our team for the next few Ryder and President cup events.
