Notes From Auburn

A few things I saw last night.
1) The Auburn fans I sat with think that MIles is a genius and are calling him the new "Riverboat Gambler".
2) Jarret Lee's release is sick......... never noticed that on television.
When the kid pulls the trigger, the ball is gone.
3) I would love to see Chad Jones and TH go 100 yards in pads.
Chad's speed is absolutely explosive.
4) Watching Charles Scott from 18 rows away gives you an idea
of what a "punishing" runner looks like.
On another note. I wanted to thank our LSU students for helping to make the game last night one that neither myself or my 10 year old daughter will ever forget. We sat right behind the student section and had a blast. Our students were great representatives of LSU last night! Even if some of them happened to use some foul language, as soon as they would see my daughter they would either apologize or simply quiet down.
We were sitting on the isle and as the students would come and go they would constantly high five my daughter and talk to her. When the Auburn fans started throwing full cups of coke into them from above, our students would just kind of turn around and look as if to say, "is that all you got?"
After the game we moved right down into the section with them and helped sing the alma mater. No doubt, my daughter fell in love with LSU last night.
