I want him to win and for LSU to continue to get better, but he has to STOP talking about what they did on the offensive side with Joe Brady in 2019.....

Why would he try to move on from the only year in his head coaching career he wasn’t a failure?

Ed O’s 2019
Team was the
Greatest in cfb history and he coached
Them
Wouldn’t you be obsessed

Yes, but I would want to repeat it! In his case it seems like it went to both his heads, and that’s where he messed up.

Then tell the media to stop asking questions about it

So you have dismissed it?
Moved on?

Magic or luck or skill - he put together one of the best college football teams of all time. Not referencing that team would be awfully weird.

I’m still obsessed with the 2019 team and what they did on offense.

Therein lies another difference between a one hit wonder and a HC that is building a program for sustained success.
You put the accolades to bed and in the past and move forward to the next championship.
Our current HC doesn’t do that because he’s a one hit wonder trying to live off the royalties of his one hit.
Nostalgia and looking back are for the fans to do not the HC.
He should only be looking forward at all times.
The Red Elephant Coach does the only looking forward thing to PERFECTION.

the past is the past, all that matters is now.. Want to be like Alabama? We cant harp on the past, F me for wanting LSU to best year in and year out. We have too good of a program to not be competing each year

So the 2019 team isn't the object of your thread?
Don't you read your own thread title?

I guess it’s better than the original binder plan of trying to be 2004 USC.

Whats really weird, is he mentioned last year in an interview, that after talking with jack marucci, the best advice they found from talking to people at previous programs that have won championships, and from behavioral specialists, the best way to avoid letdowns following a championship, was to avoid referencing the players and teams that won that championship. And since that interview, its like he never retained that info
