That's a great get for JT, but I didn't hear or see what happened to Johnson. Did I miss it? I saw he was just elected into the Caddie HOF, so is he just hanging up the bag and retiring?

I wondered the same thing about Johnson. He's 64 years old.

He was hobbling around pretty good at Whistling Straits last weekend. I actually thought to myself that he might need to take some time off. So this doesn't really come as a surprise, but I really enjoyed Bones as an on course commentator. Woody is really good too.

JT posted on instagram that JJ approached him about pursuing other opportunities. Gotta think his health was a big reason.

He’s had some health issues I believe. Bones had to fill in before.

I don't know how long they were together, but I would imagine that Bubba has got to be one of the toughest players on Tour to caddie for.

Yeah, he seems like a nice enough guy, but he has so many spiders in his head. For a group that already lives way too much in their heads, maybe with the exception of DJ, being Bubba’s bag has to be a challenge.

On that note…anyone hear anything about Wolff and how he’s doing? Feel bad for the guy.

They were perfect for each other. Bubba will never find someone to replace Teddy.

ETA: I don't think Teddy is looking for a new bag.

As far as Bones goes, I think it was a mistake by him to go back to caddying. He had it made with NBC.

He'll be invited back with open arms at any point he wants to return. He was the network's best golf analyst and to me it's not particularly close.

What was his reason for leaving Phil? I thought Bones had some health issues as well?

Probably so. I just can't understand why he want to put his body through that again. He already had both knees replaced. Is he trying to get hips too?
