Bringing a buddy this weekend and wanna make sure he can enjoy the round. Not a great golfer.

I tried Bayetown… unavailable. Windswept may be too long. What do you guys think about playing up at Kelly?

Make sure to play the right tees at Kelly. All of the trouble is in front of you. You just need to make sure you can hit it to the wide part of the fairway

Emerald Bay is a little easier, and still a nice track.

Links @Sandestin is easy. Old, short, but scenic around the bay. Kelly is an easier course, but just let him play the ladies or Sr tees wherever you choose. We can’t all be bombers…

Sandestin Links is fun but far from easy, he’ll lose 50 balls there. I’ve never played it but what about the golf garden or whatever it’s called between Sandestin & Kelly. I think it may be a 9 hole course?

Windswept is long but from what I remember doesn't have as much water as Kelly. More enjoyable in my opinion if you can find your ball versus watching it roll into the water.
Can always play the shorter tees to keep the score under 150

Looks like Windswept Dunes has many tee options. Can play whites at 5800 yards.

Yea, I think I have decided Windswept and just play up one in front of the greens. Should be around 5700.

Thanks guys

IMO, Rocky Bayou is the best kept secret in the area. Super fun with a lot of elevation changes. Only like 15-20 min. from the beach in Niceville. Course is always in great shape plus its almost half of what you'll pay in Destin.
