It’s Steve Ensminger’s peepeecacapoopoo offense going full juggernaut against uga in 2018 for me

In his second year at LSU, Saban won the SEC with the 108th ranked pass defense and an explosive passing attack. Great coaches find a way to win in different ways.

Didn’t msu offer him a 20 yr, 200 mil dollar contract?

Damn, bout to be 49-0. Smh LSU avoided a big mistake, and to tell you the truth Michigan should have beaten them.

He's gonna work out great at LSU.

This is just another year of the Big 10 getting weird, undeserved respect from the pollsters. We always see some crappy team like Michigan St, Michigan, Iowa or Penn State roll up some sloppy wins against other crappy teams; the pollsters go gaga over them for no reason, and then they play OSU and get throttled, because OSU is the only team in that conference that recruits the type of players who can compete with SEC schools. And you see the vast difference between them and everyone else in that conference, over and over again.
It took OSU, themselves, forever to compete with SEC teams. They used to get pummeled routinely. I just don't get the love for that conference.

That's why you don't jump at the shiny new object without looking at it's history, which isn't great.
At least Aranda has proven himself as a DC. It wasn't the LSU defense of old but maybe that never happens again but it was better than pre and post his time here.

I just don't think modern CFB will ever really allow defenses to be that consistently dominant. Even Bama and their annual collection of talent has their fair share of higher scoring games.
I think Aranda is just a master at adjustments both in game and over the course of a year and that's what you really want.

They still had a respectable total defense rank (38th). Sparty is 112th and that's playing in the Blob 10.
