LSU's Basketball walk-on

Just heard from one of the manager's that the newest addition to the team will be Zach Kinsley from St. Michael's High School in Baton Rouge. Zach is a former All-Metro player in 2007 and was also all-district 3 years. I believe he was MVP of the dist. his senior season in 2007. I am not sure where Zach played last year or if he did, but LSU is getting a quality walk on. Zach is 6'5 and about 195.

put up some good numbers in hs but thats all i know i've never seen him play. sounds like a good player for a walk on though

Just found out, Zach played at St. Thomas Moore in Connecticut last year and teamed with Devin Ebanks who is headed to West Virginia and was big time recruit this past year.
And as for the person who said I am related to Zach, I dont even know the kid personally, I just did a little research after I heard who LSU chose as the walk on to see where he played last season. I saw him play several times in HS though and he was a good HS player.

He is LSU's best walk-on in a while. He had some small school D1 offers out of HS from what I remember but IDK why he went prep school. Everybody I spoke to last year about him didnt know where he went so I thought he gave up on ball. But apparently he didnt.

He will probably have about as little of an impact as any other walk-on does on any other basketball team. Decent enough kid...comes from a family with a lot of money and isn't afraid to show it. Dad was known to be a pain in the arse when the kid was in HS. Hope it works out for him at LSU. Should be an upgrade from Terrebone, for what that is worth.

I agree LSUGrad, he is better then T-Bonne, and I think he is there best walk on in a while, he is def. better then Landry or Jack warner was

his family owns Brian Harris, I believe...
I met him at the hospital the night my girlfriend's cousin got into a car accident...didn't get to talk to him much, but he was a good high school player from what i've heard...
