Been over this so many times....these other "golden boy" candidates were crushed in the primaries so they were supposed to magically emerge in the general? Why were they golden boys might you ask? Because they were crushed in the primaries as I already mentioned thus the media and Dem smear machine held their fire. Look at how they treated the election. They withdrew support for the candidate, never publicly criticized Hillary or the media, withdrew group support from their party, cried like babies after the Primaries, publicly denounced their voting bases support for Trump.
