Hate the loss of your car - I've been stolen from numerous times over my 60 years - and it's sucks.
Still the issue was did his stance on going after the immigrants cost him in the long run. I say yes. Because he went about it in the same way we've been doing it for years. Carrot and Stick is much better... you have a card... you can get a job. NO card, no job. You get caught hiring a 'no card' perhaps you pay a 100 grand for each guy (1st time) and double or triple it the next.

However the primary is long over and from the looks of it a lot of folks disagree with the wall. Enough so that a potentially new political base has been awaken. One that will make white America have to reconsider how to build a successful coalition in future federal elections.
I agree there's a major immigration problem... this just looks like the wrong answer... and his mega wall is not the fix.
