Stereotyping, bigotry and racism are very similar in nature. If you can't grasp that then I need to hold a discussion with someone else.

If you don't understand the difference in stereotyping and racism, maybe you should just leave the thread.

ETA: Case and point, you stereotype school systems by their appearance based on a representation bias. That does not make you a racist.

Look, we've had some of the most ignorant, despicable, people on the face of the earth calling us racist, sexist, or the like for simply questioning liberal policies and progressive ideology for most of our lives. I respect what you are trying to do here, but spare us the lecture. Most of us know very well was racism is, and we don't stand for it. The democrat has always been the party of race, not because they care about victims of real racism, but because it keeps them in power.

Moral relativism, wanting immigration is not racist, are the people of Mexico racist for not extending the same rights to me?

I'm not calling anyone racist. With that said, the rhetoric used in this election spoke to racist, emboldened racist and could easily be interpreted that way by those that have been offended. I'm not lecturing anyone. Not even close. Your post resembles a lecture more than mine have. I'm having civil discourse with people regarding a sensitive subject.

This tweet isn't racist, provided you're OK blaming Trump for the actions of all white people through 2020.

Furthermore, Patrick, you just voiced frustration regarding the way people spoke about Trump's base, but did so by calling them despicable and ignorant. I see that as a tad hypocritical. This has been an issue on both sides during this election. Your words are divisive.

IIRC, the black housing thing was a big HUD crackdown (no pun intended)

They say he's racist against Mooslims. Mooslim ain't a race.

They say he's racist against blacks. Trump comes out with his New Deal specifically outlining his strategy to help blacks.

They say he's racist against Mexicans. He strongly supports legal Mexicans and immigrants who are going through the legal process.

...and this tweet isn't racist, provided you agree that Trump must like the Slovenian illegals because of his wife.

My comment goes beyond this election.

People that falsely accuse others of being racist are ignorant and despicable.

Call that divisive if you want. I'll speak the truth proudly. Many of us did yesterday. That what seems to have some people in a tizzy today.

Really? No need to deflect right now. This conversation is about Trump, and nothing more.

It's not what I'm calling it, that's what it is; hypocritical and divisive.

Neither of those tweets are racist. Perhaps short-sighted and illogical, but not racist.

That's exactly what people are talking about here. The word has been so diluted today that people don't even know what the frick racism even is.

It's gotten to the point that if you point out anyone's race or ethnicity and deduce something about them, it's racist. That's not fricking racism!

I could give you story after story, but I don't want to go down that road. I will say a couple things, though. I visit roughly 50 or more high schools in a given year, and have done so in multiple states. With scary accuracy, I can tell you the makeup of the student body before I ever step foot inside the school, simply by the condition of the school. Schools with a largely minority student body are generally in worse shape than schools filled with Caucasians. This is what I've encountered in Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, Texas and Georgia; all states I have worked in the past.

I also get to see high school football coaches, who in alarming numbers, concern themselves more about the futures of their white players more than the minorities on their team. The sheer number of cases I have encountered is troubling and it hurts me to my core. These are just a couple of things I see frequently.

What in the F is this? So because you are around poor black communities and schools often you are now an expert on racism? How is that make you a racist expert? Give me a break.

The idea or even thought that Trump is any more racist than Obama is despicable and complete bias because of his political party.

How many times has "white privilege" been used by the democrats? The idea that all white kids and white people grow up the same is despicable and even more ignorant than calling all mexicans illegal.
