I don’t personally like Trump

Since we're sharing personal feelings, I like him a whole lot more than I used to.
I gained a tremendous degree of respect for that man when he was shot in the head and came up off the stage screaming "Fight!"
That's not something that can be taught or learned. In the heat of the moment like that, you are going to see the real guy. That's what he's made of.
He still makes me roll my eyes with some of the completely unnecessary things he says (although many of his campaign trolls this time were sheer brilliance). I still don't like some of his stated policies.
But we need someone in office right now who will push back as hard as the Democrats are pushing forward. I honestly believe he's the only one who will. At this point they've tried to ruin him, imprison him, and they've literally tried to kill him.
If anyone knows what's at stake, it's Trump. I don't think he'll just preside over chants of "Lock her up" this time. I think he'll bring the thunder. And that's what he needs to do. The Democrats have demonstrated that they do not care about the constitution, fairness, equal protection, integrity, law, nothing. Like a middle eastern terrorist group, they only understand and/or respond to force. He needs to bring that force this time.
I've gone from being a reluctant Trump voter who wished that the Republicans had nominated someone else to someone who believes that he is occupying a singularly unique position in history for a reason. I think destiny has been invoked.

I don’t have a problem with people being liberal. I think people should have differing opinions and be able to discuss those opinions and then continue their game of canasta like my parents and their friends used to do. The problem is leftism. If my time in the army taught me anything it was that chaos, crisis and personal pain/tragedy reveals ones personality, ability to lead and their courage
In many ways I’m way way more to the right of trump on some policies as I’m sure many are on this board…but god damn, how much more do you need to see
The mother fricker was shot in the head and didn’t fricking flinch instead got up and told you to never stop fighting no matter what happens to him
