I picked up Taysom just because it’s the time of the year to take some risk with the playoffs coming up. Hopefully, they start using Taysom like he’s supposed to be used coming off the bye.

I decided to roll with Taysom the rest of the way. The rest of my lineup is pretty damn solid, so if he duds, I can still win... not like there's a ton of TE studs on the waiver wire anyway. But when he gets those 20-30 point weeks, it's almost an auto-win.
And there's always that very real possibility that Carr/Jameis get hurt and/or benched and you've got a starting QB in your TE slot.

I traded Logan Thomas for Taysom Hill last night, because this is my thinking. I already have a solid team. I rather swing for the fence with Taysom knowing I could get 2-3 point games with some 20 point games over a guy getting around 7-9 points a game.

Hill is a decent option as long as Carr is healthy and he isn’t thrust in the QB2 role, which means they barely use him in case Jameis gets injured.
