I liked AB more when I didn't know he was an ignorant a-hole.

It's his word against hers whether it was consensual. And all I get from that is that his pullout game was strong and she got upset that he ended up "busing" her baby daddy money all over her back
Like I said, if she was so uncomfortable then why go back not once but twice. $$$
I don't think I invested too much. I actually took over this team from a guy who finished last in a 10-team keeper IDP league where you keep 5 on offense and 5 on defense.
I traded him Golladay/DJ Moore and the 1st overall pick for Brown and the 7th overall pick. He picked Josh Jacobs with the number 1 and I picked Miles Sanders at 7 and drafted Moore later since he didn't keep him.

No reason to deal him now, you invested high draft capital in him and his value is in the gutter. Stick it out, see what happens.

I don't think he gets suspended over this. Not enough concrete evidence (that I have seen) + the fact that this is a civil case and not criminal. Now all of this is bound to change after they talk to her and the way this saga is going more stuff will come out tonight but as of now I think he plays and I expect him to play well in NE

I just don't see how meeting/talking with her changes things. Two people with two different stories and no evidence. Her timing is all about using his recent crazy outbursts with the Raiders as leverage to get momentum with her case.

This is classic "I own the player so her word vs his" vs " I do not own him, I hope he doesn't play again"

Don't get me wrong. I think the guy is an absolute POS but I think this chick is absolutley pursuing this for the money as well. I'm just trying to make the right call for my fantasy team.

I think AB did sexually assault her, but she’s only pursuing a civil case to profit off of it, so I don’t really care. Who knows how the league will deal with it though

Spot on. Hold AB until he breaks out and hope he doesn't frick up or trade him.
If it helps, I traded a mid pick to get AB, so I'm waiting to cash in.

Yep same here. He’s on the bench until after he plays his first game. I’m holding Melvin Gordon also

tl;dr - it's up to Goodell.
But if you're this far with him, you might as well wait and see. You shouldn't be able to get much for him at this stage (crazy/idiot trade partners notwithstanding).
quote:
The NFL continues to send signals that the newest Patriots receiver could land quickly on the Commissioner-Exempt list. Some interpret the language of the Personal Conduct Policy to mean that, in the absence of criminal charges, Brown can’t be placed on paid leave until the league fully investigates the allegations made against him in a civil suit.
Here’s the language of the policy that allows the Commissioner to utilize paid leave absent a criminal prosecution: “[W]hen an investigation leads the Commissioner to believe that a player may have violated this Policy by committing [sexual assault or rape], he may act where the circumstances and evidence warrant doing so. This decision will not reflect a finding of guilt or innocence and will not be guided by the same legal standards and considerations that would apply in a criminal trial.”
Nothing in the policy requires the investigation to be completed. Indeed, nothing in the policy requires the investigation to reach any specific point. There simply must be “an investigation” that “leads the Commissioner to believe” that Brown “may have violated” the policy by engaging in the conduct of which he stands accused, with the key considerations being the “circumstances and evidence.”

Which is nuts
It is absolutely baffling how bad the NFLPA CBA is when it comes to protecting the players' best interests

Well, the players wanted money and better health/retirement benefits. And they're not exactly great with money.
So the owners didn't have to give up too much. It'll be interesting to see if the players learned from the last time and saved up for a possible lockout.
I'm guessing they didn't.

So if you're an AB owner it couldn't hurt to throw trade offers out there at upside value (elite WR1 talent w/Brady as his QB) to see if anyone bites but don't take any lowball offers.
