Standard 12 team league, currently T3

I offer Dalvin, Hilton, and D. Thomas for Zeke.

Trade is accepted but vetoed by 4 members saying it was lopsided in my favor. Anyone ever experienced something like this?

Other pertinent info; my current RBs are Barkley, White, Cook, Ekeler

May revise this offer to another owner. Is Cook + Hilton for CMAC too much?
Keep in mind standard, not PPR

You are getting the better of it but it’s no way close to being vetoable

This league has a history of taking it upon themselves to decide if certain trades make one team or another too good. Regardless of how fair the trades are.

Is the other team eliminated from the playoffs? Its not like Zeke is setting the world on fire.

Stuff like this is why I hate the trade veto option. Outside of downright collusion, there's no valid reason for a 3rd party owner to veto a trade.

My work league is the same way. People get butthurt when good teams try to position themselves better for ROS.

Dalvin could definitely blow up and make this trade favor the other guy straight up without considering the other players, I don’t see a reason this should be vetoed. The people you play with suck

In my league a guy offered a guy Odell and Julio for Gurley and it got vetoed.

The guy trying to get Gurley was 2-6 and in last place and the guy getting Julio and Odell was 4-4

The more I look at it, Dalvin has a pretty favorable playoff schedule so it could work better for me in the end. I know Hilton has one of the toughest schedules left for WR.

TY has Houston, dallas, and giants in playoffs.

Not exactly a daunting schedule. Houston maybe but the other 2 not so much

Hilton has the 3rd hardest playoff schedule for WR per FantasyPros. I do have Landry as an alternative if it could ever be justified playing Jarvis over Hilton.

I have to choose between

Landry
Hilton
Edelman
Kupp
Ross
Amendola

And then 1 of them or Mack in my flex

I'm fortunate the two leagues I'm in this isn't an issue. I don't think I could commit long-term to a league like that.

A trade being "lopsided" in one's favor is not something to veto. Bad trades happen. The league should not veto unless obvious collusion or if it's something so egregious that it would "break" the league

We had this same problem in my league this year. I sent this link to the group text and told them to go F themselves. Everyone apologized and we changed our rules to only veto if obvious collusion.

Send them this link, tell them to read it, and tell them to go F themselves.
