I was lucky enough to draft late and so I own Conner in a few leagues. My initial thought when grabbing him was to hope for a game like this and then flip him immediately to cash in on his value.

Is that still the right play? Or is he a hold for now and cash in on the next 1-2 weeks of RB1 value, then hope for continued value later this year?

If you are selling him, how high? I'm thinking he's at least an RB2 value and may try to package him with another asset to grab an RB1. Is that realistic?

I guess I'm just not sure what to do here.

Just for an idea: I offered a guy Conner and Tyreek Hill for Lamar Miller and Mike Evans.. He turned it down. He also owns Bell and believes Bell will be back 'soon"

Bottom line is, no one knows when Bell will be back, but if Conner keeps putting up numbers like yesterday people will start to want him more

Any chance of acquiring Bell?

I'd ride the train for at least a few more weeks. I don't think Bell is returning any time soon.

Possibly in one league, but I'd have to give up too much for him based on conversations so far. Bell is too much of a risk for me to aggressively target at this point.

Just posted this in the other Conner thread:

quote:

It doesn’t matter when Bell comes back, he isn’t going to take substantial carries. He may go all out for a game or two but he will never put his future on the line for this team. That is clear as day for anyone willing to look even remotely between the lines.

To answer OP, his value to you is higher than to anyone else. Just keep him and reap the benefits of drafting a guy that everyone else should have made a priority.

I have him in 3/4 leagues and won’t move him. At the end of the season, I’m guessing he will be the guy that is on the highest percentage of playoff/championship teams.

An RB1 that was taken in the final rounds/bids, that is the guy that wins leagues. Congrats

Guess it depends on what is considered too much. That duo will be a guaranteed rb1 rest of the season. I would go that route if the other party is willing.

Well yes if I could keep Conner and get Bell. But no chance of that happening

Have you tried? Put in an aggresive offer if you have the depth.

Good luck. All should know Conner is a short term starter. Get what you can while you can imo.

His value becomes nothing when Bell returns. You had better capitalize now.

Yea, this the price range I was thinking. Seems a lot of people are thinking much higher though.

Start out targeting a flex guy to see if you can get it. Should at least be able to get a bye week filler if not.

Kenyan Drake down week could probably be had for Conner. That would be a target for me. Gore doesn’t scare me if that’s the next question. Drake got 14 carries and 3 catches. 17 touches I think is the low average for Drake, and with his explosiveness he’s gonna have big games with that many touches.

Devonta Freeman. I’m even scared of him right now, but his value is probably as low as it will get all season. Could be a buying opportunity.

I have Conner and not Bell. Last week I offered Mixon for Bell and he turned it down. After this week I am thinking of offering Conner for either Brandin Cooks or Diggs. My fear is that when Bell is back they both have value but I'd rather not have to play both.

I got offered Conner for Emmanuel Sanders but I turned it down.
I just can't say that Conner will be RB1 long enough for it to pay off. (I lost Mckinnon day after our draft )

Don't want to start a new thread. But I am in 2 leagues, bell owners in both want to trade obviously.

I have Mixon in both leagues and want to offer both of them Mixon for Bell. Is that an even trade? not enough? too much?
