I had him last year. I feel y’all pain. That being said, I still won my league without him.

2-0 about to be 2-1. It was fun.

Hopefully I can survive and go 1-2 the next 3 weeks

If you didn’t cuff your top three pick then it’s hard to feel bad for any one of y’all

I said what I said

Still love y’all

$70 for CMC last year, 3 games

Decided to double down and keep him for $80 this year.

Good thing I have Aiyuk, Shenault, Callaway, and A Brown as my WRs to pick up the slack.

Handcuffing them is smart but they're still not gonna be CMC Kamara or Cook. It's a huge blow even if u have their backups.

Yet you'd think he died based on some of the replies.

I'm optimistic. They called him out REALLY quickly. I'm thinking some of that is due to the short week after 30 carries. No reason to push it. Hopefully it won't be an extended amount of time. I'd be fine with the 3 game IR

Sounds like I was pretty damn close. People must not like optimism on this board.

Because they enjoy being dramatic. If you drafted CMC 1st overall the roster should be set up to lose someone of that caliber. I'll have Montgomery, Jefferson, Amari & DJ moore to help carry me while he's out. Everyone else that has CMC should have something similar. If we can finish around .500 for those 3-5 weeks he's out we'll be good to go.

Rap reported IR doesn't seem to be necessary so far. So that's good news.

Just sucks because I've also had some injuries with Cooper and Henderson. Need them both the next few weeks

How are you feeling about Coop? I can flex James White over him but after only getting 5 from CMC I need to swing for the fences. That'll include Coop and Rondale.

Regarding Christian McCaffrey’s hamstring injury:

From 2016-2019, here’s the percentage breakdown of number of games missed by skill players specifically due to a hamstring strain (i.e. 73 players/33% of the sample missed 0 games, 34 players/15.4% of sample missed 2 games etc.)

I was optimistic because they ruled him out quickly but kept him in the tent until halftime.

This^^^

If I lose a top back I’m just going to take my L and try to salvage what I can. I have never been big on handcuffing. It caps your upside. I rather have other guys with potential on my bench. Now if I can pick my handcuff up after my starter gets hurt then so be it but I’m not about holding on the chubba hubbards and Alexander mattison’s of the world who only get a few carries per game and only chance of being relevant will be bc of injury. Even if you do have your handcuff you likely not going to get the same production from a back up.

Why would that make you optimistic

Because if it was clearly a bad injury they would probably take him straight to the trainers room. Keeping him on the sideline that long was a good sign IMO. They most likely ruled him out in an abundance of caution and because they were playing one of the worst teams in the league.

Not that complicated.

why though? The Panthers are t some prolific offense and Hubbard isn’t a stud

Well bc u have the num 1 pick. And if he goes down you have another starting rb stud or not

Mike Davis mostly put up RB3 numbers last year.
