Gaskin vs Houston
I’ve been starting Conner because he’s good for a TD almost every game, but I don’t know how the offense will perform with Colt McCoy at QB. Meanwhile The Dolphins are hosting the terrible Texans.

No way you could have predicted that Edmonds would get hurt. Fantasy sucks like that sometimes.

Not only did Edmonds get hurt on the 1st/2nd drive, Zona dominated a game where they were a 5 point road underdog starting a backup QB
Super lucky runout for Conner..I say this as someone who benefited from his day in a few leagues where I really needed it. But I think Gaskin was the right call pregame

I mean, why choose Gaskin over Conner when Conner had 7 rushing TDs entering the game? Chase finally scored his 1st TD last week.
And with Murray, Hopkins and Green out, you should have expected Conner to play an even bigger role yesterday.

Conner is a great goal line back, but that doesn't change the fact Gaskin and Conner were virtually tied in season-long fantasy points coming into week 9. ESPN projections aren't perfect, but they projected Gaskin 3 to 4 points better than Conner. Every single ESPN ranker had Gaskin > Conner. Pretty clear that a lot of people thought Gaskin was a better play.

Yea, you could have expected more touches, but oftentimes cluster injuries on offense can tank the whole offense's production. Tough to generate fantasy points for a touchdown dependent back when the offense is projected to score way less points and theoretically will have less success sustaining drives.
Conner had a 77% snap share yesterday, when his previous game high was 55%. 7 of 9 weeks his snap share was below 50%. Do we think that had something to do with Edmonds' injury?
Conner had 5 receptions for 77 yards yesterday. Coming into yesterday's game he had 5 receptions for 34 yards ALL SEASON. Do we think that had something to do with Edmonds' injury?

Up until yesterday, Conner was basically td dependent. Granted, he’s scored a healthy amount, but he was basically a goal line back.
I’ve had him on my bench all year, but will be starting him for the next few weeks.

Conners role in that offense carried value though. Averaging 13 touches a game including valuable RZ looks on a top 5 offense. He was RB14 in the six weeks leading up to his 40 point blowup
