Have Tua and Goff right now.

How does it hurt it? He gets another weapon.

I’m aware it doesn’t hurt it. I’m curious if he improves Jimmy’s stock enough to drop Tua or Goff. It obviously helps, but how much?

I could use another QB too so just went and looked. I doubt McCaffery plays this week and then next week he plays @LAR and then has a bye. Not really the best time to pick him up unless you don't need him for a while

He will play Sunday. Maybe limited but he plays

Not sure but I assume it hurts debos stock right?

Jimmy G is a 17-22pt QB pretty much every week for the past 2 years. I don’t think CMC is going to have any effect, positive or negative on that.

CMC is an elite receiving weapon. Yes he increases Jimmy G’s stock in redraft. Plus the offense will be more effective with CMC’s rushing efficiency, so there will be more points to go around
Now the real question is how does this effect Jimmy G vs Lance next year? I honestly think this all-in move signals that the 49ers will probably stick with Jimmy G long term. You can’t do an all-in move and then start a basically brand new QB with almost no game experience unless he’s Pat Mahomes. And Lance is no Mahomes and the 49ers have signaled as much

1 full game last season and 1 this season, and you think they've figured it out?

Daniel Jones is currently QB#9, right behind Justin Herbert and has 6-10 rushes per game. I dropped Jimmy G for Jones this week because of that but honestly it’s probably splitting hairs. Jimmy will get you consistent serviceable points, but Jones has a higher ceiling i think.

Tua should put him huge numbers vs the Lions this week. I could see dropping Goff for Jimmy G
