Our league is unique as it’s essentially 2 10-team leagues and our playoffs are 14-16. The 2 champions play H2H in week 17. If the league vote doesn’t pass to change the settings (to 4 teams making the playoffs on each side or a best outta 4 week 17) would you pass up on JT with a week 14 bye week or let it ride and hope I get a first round bye?

This is similar to TDFL setup, except 12-team leagues and Auction. 14-16 league playoffs and then the H2H Superbowl week 17.

I would say if you don't make the playoffs, it won't matter anyway. Build your best team now.

Get a T2 seed and have the bye in W14

In any league, you could have a great team and not hit T2 seed. Additionally, 10-team leagues are usually stacked - I haven't played one in quite a while.

I would go for having the best team you can assemble to make the playoffs and if you lose a player like JTT for week 14, deal with it then.

If you think CMC and Taylor is a tossup, sure, use it as a tiebreaker

Otherwise I'd just draft the best team possible.

Thanks for the input guys. I’ve been burned by CMC 2 years in a row in other leagues, so I think I’ll just roll with JT
