He's saying you could hit 35 ip or 6 starts, but you're still possibly forced to start pitchers bc you need every P spot filled on fantrax bc an illegal lineup voids your points

Correct
Innings Pitched is already a category. Then you're forced to keep starting pitchers. That doesn't make any sense.

Holy shite. Just catching up with all of this. Yeah, there was an error in the setup. It should be 35 IP OR 6 starts, not both. Fantrax doesnt have an either/or capability so I just removed the 6 start requirement.
I need to see if it corrected things retroactively.

Looks like it fixed it. Sorry about that.

What would you guys like to see the IP requirement lowered to? 25?
FYI, like some have said, there absolutely must be some kind of minimum set, even though IP is a stat.

I think lowering the IP is possible.
but you still have to field a full roster. If you want to take the strategy of going after avg stats, plan accordingly and carry more bench pitchers.

Agreed.

If this is all we have to worry about, it was a good first week of the regular season.

Did anyone actually have issues reaching the minimum IP requirement?
20/25 is way too low for my liking. I don't have a problem with IP or the 6 start minimum, but I do agree with the people who've said we shouldn't be forced to start guys once the requirements are met.

you need to be able to manipulate your lineup to keep it legal.

I think 25 would work
I mean, if teams are gonna shut down their pitchers after that, then they'll lose ip and QS anyway
Plus the roster thing mwg is talking about is gonna force people to start pitchers sometimes

I cant imagine this happening too often.

Idk the benches are pretty thin. Depending if you have bench hitting or pitching, there may not be much wiggle room

Which is rondo and my point, if you want to go with that strategy then contruct your lineup accordingly.

TBH I had to stream pitchers to make sure I made the 6 starts requirement this week
