I am going to post a poll on if IP requirement should even be lowered. If 75% of those voting agree that it should be, then we will vote again on what it should be changed to.
I removed the 6 start requirement from the settings, since it is an all or nothing thing. However, as it stands now, you can still have less than 35 IP as long as you make six starts. I will just have to manually adjust under those circumstances, which will probably never even occur.

I'm fine with 35 IP
I just think I should be allowed to bench players at my leisure and not have to have 9 active pitchers at all times.
Otherwise, move it down to 30 IP

maybe we can still have a gentlemanly understanding that you are ok if you hit 6 starts, should it arise

Yeah i mean its still in the constitution. It will just need to be dealt with manually if it were ever to be an issue.

Well that was fast. The vote has already been clinched.
The IP requirement will remain at 35. We can address again in the offseason if we need to.

I disagree with this. If you want to be more flexible, you should have more options on your bench. 6 roster spots is plenty enough to make sure that you don't have to start someone if you don't want to.

6 votes already to keep it at 35.

You're short one reserve player right now... pick up another pitcher to give yourself some more flexibility.

So owners are required to keep pitchers in their starting lineup and meet a 35 IP minimum.
Why again is innings pitched a ca...
Never mind.

Just lengthen your P bench and bench starters you don't want to throw.

If you can't manage to meet 35 ip and not be forced to start every pitcher going, you have some serious planning issues pal.

so managers like me can get their ERA and WHIP wrecked early in the week and just throw out garbage the rest of the week on my way to a cat win.
duh.

What are the replacement suggestions for IP next season?
