it's still not clear to me if you knew the rule and ignored it and went by what fantrax allowed... or you did not know the rules regarding minor league roster eligibility.
can anyone in the league answer this question for me?

This may have to wait until Monday before it is resolved.

That's fine. Much appreciated.

I can answer with what I'm sure happened but not with papz will try to tell you happened

I think its pretty apparent that he knew it was against league rules but did it anyway. Dude pulled a Bill Belichick on our arse.

I've said nothing about your intentions. I just messaged redd earlier saying you had the league in a tizzy.
Since I'm here & can provide a non-league opinion, I'll throw mine out. I don't get you could think it's kosher to move players not eligible for particular spots freely when the league went through the trouble to make a distinction between major & minor league spots. I'll never know what you intentions are; I don't particularly care. You've seemed like a decent & smart enough dude throughout the years I've played with you; it's why I'm having a hard time understanding your oversight even if your intentions were genuine.

I think a loss of first round draft pick is expected.
I don't know how else to enforce other penalties without one of the other 19 owners gain an advantage over the others.

The way he's explained his cheating is worse than his actual cheating imo. If he would have said from the start that he found a loophole I probably would have attempted to support his position
Posted on 5/8/15 at 6:02 pm to Louie T
It was an loophole I exploited... legally I thought and apparently it's not. Now made clear to me 5 weeks into the season. And for the millionth time, had I known, obviously I wouldn't have done it. I can't change the past. However I do not feel as if I blatantly tried to cheat anyone. For the millionth time, what I was doing was transparent from the start. I have a pretty decent team. Why would I knowingly want to throw away my season? I don't need to cheat to win... that's already been proven in the past. Regardless of how this is playing out, some of you already know what kind of owner/player I am. Whether people choose to believe it or not, I cannot control that.
I did not blatantly try to cheat. Was there an exploit I took advantage of? Yes... one I thought was perfectly legal. If I had known from the start would I have done it? No. Why would I want to ruin my season like that?
I hope along with everything I've said countless of times, sounding like a broken record, at least the people who didn't understand what I said, now do.

I'm assuming that's a PSA to the league, because it in no way addresses what I said. I'm not going to comment of your intentions due to it simply not possible for me to do.

Because of the way I interpreted the rule. I get I was operating in a gray area. However since it was allowed by the site and not enforced by anyone including my opponents, I felt I was walking on the right side of that fine line. What I did in hindsight comes off shady, I don't deny it... however the loophole that it appears I exploited was illegal. Had I known it was illegal from the get go, I wouldn't have done it.
All I'm doing is regurgitating from page to page. My views, my stance, my opinion, my solution for the issues have all been stated multiple times.

thank you
so you knew the rule and exploited it anyway because fantrax let you. "loophole" is a nice way to say "cheated" here
lol.. how is knowing the rule and doing it anyway not "blatantly" cheating?
and so since everyone has the ability to look at your team yet no one thought to check yours and 19 other teams' roster from day 1 makes it transparent? you cheated the system and this "transparency" makes it ok? gtfo
you knew the rule!!! come the frick on
You pulled some bullshite dude. I dont care about your track record. You basically just admitted to cheating but tied it up in a box with a pretty little bow. You threw around the "i dont care enough about this fantasy league, you guys care about fantasy too much derp derp" and you are the dude who was cheating! in fantasy!
you should be tossed out this league

LULZ #1. Not sure how the suggestion of putting everyone at 12-0 against papz each week isn't universally fair. You actually want to earn the 12-0 while the vast majority of the league doesn't get that benefit. Seems to me like you are the one that wants to go with whatever benefits you the most.
Says the person in first place and who would get jumped by 2 peoplWe and who wrote the rule. If you look at the standings, I'm probably one of the least affected people because of this move. I would be 4 back from 1st no matter.
Posted on 5/8/15 at 6:20 pm to papz
Why not ask about the issue before the year started when you admittedly knew you were occupying a gray area and exploiting a loophole that gave you a competitive advantage over others?
Posted on 5/8/15 at 6:24 pm to Louie T
Because I assumed it was legal and chose not to sound like a newbie dumbass... which in the end, happened anyways. I figured anytime my lineup was illegal, I wouldn't have been able to set a lineup and notified by fantrax.
Posted on 5/8/15 at 6:24 pm to reddman
Also, it's okay he was able to cheat and get extra hitters in the lineup which gives him advantages in categories like runs scored and the other non ratio categories. But it's okay to the rest of the league because it didn't effect them. Follow the dawn rules. You wrote thwm, not me.

It finally processed after the umpteenth time eh? Congrats.
The magic word for today is regurgitation. Everytime I say it, you should give yourself 5 points.

But it's not cut and dry. What the rules state and what fantrax allowed contradicted one another. If you weren't in persecution mode and was even remotely objective, you'd understand my defense. You are however entitle to feel whatever way you want... and I'll stash that opinion away in my "don't give a crap box that gyno thinks I cheated box". I'm sure it will come in handy one day.

Well at least he finally admitted to trying to cheat
Posted on 5/8/15 at 6:32 pm to papz
You are getting snarky with me because you cheated in a fantasy baseball league?
If you would have typed that out 5 pages ago and not been cryptic that you were cheating, we could've ruled this case closed awhile ago.

I can't help it if you couldn't understand what I said pages ago. We all operate at our own pace. It's ok. Your butt hurt will go away soon enough and it will all be an afterthought.
