Second week this year where I'm all tied up and can take a week and the team shits the bed.
Way to close fricktards

Still a bunch of cats in the air heading to the sunday night game.

It probably didn't affect our outcome much, since I'm not sure who he would've dropped to compensate for bringing David peralta up. He had no other healthy OF on his team at the time, so he would've been forced to either start victorino, bring up peralta and drop some one from his majors, or pick up a free agent and drop someone from his majors. If he was forced to start victorino, the only cat that would change is RBI, which would be a tie.
So it didn't really affect anything in my matchup, but there still should be some sort of punishment

I exploited a loophole that caused a lot of headaches the past few days for my opponents and the committee... and for that I sincerely apologize. I should have asked for a clarification on the rule before arseuming it was okay because fantrax allowed it. I hope that those who know me well enough know that I would never blatantly try to cheat anyone. That is not the person I am behind a computer screen or IRL.

After giving it some thought though, if it was me, I would let the people who played against papz already, present their case if they believe his cheating affected their match up in anyway.
Nobody else that faced him seems to think their matchup was affected.

Let the league or Committee decide if they have a case. Handle Papz punishment by way of Draft picks and maybe other punishments.
Committee is discussing it behind the scenes. Hope to have a decision soon...

Official Ruling from the committee:
Papz will forfeit both draft picks in the 2016 draft. No scores from previous periods will be adjusted.

Seems about the fairest way to handle a fricked up situation.

My non committee .02: Papz screwed up, but it doesn't seem to have screwed up scoring in any matchups. I am for giving him a roster penalty for the remainder of the season:
A)remove his draft picks from the next minor league draft or something similar. This might be considered too much of just a slap on the wrist though.
B) put a stricter limit on the amount of drops/adds he can do in a week since that is what he took advantage of (the league limits owners to making, what, 6 moves per week? limit him for the rest of the season so he could only make 1,2 or 3 per week). That would be a pretty big penalty going forward if a number of his guys hit the DL at one time. But since that's the loophole he took advantage of for 4 weeks, I think it fits the "crime".
C) Somewhat like option B - limit the amount of DL slots he has for the remainder of the season. Everyone else has three DL slots; penalize him so that he only has 1 or 2 for the remainder of the season. That's also a major penalty, but seems fitting since that is the loophole he took advantage of
D) some combination of these
I am against erasing category wins since it doesn't look like it made much of a difference there.
I am also against making him ineligible for playoffs. Again, since his weekly matchups would have probably had the same outcome and considering the time, money, preparation this league took for some owners. Erasing the playoffs is extremely harsh for something that didn't effect category wins/losses much, if at all. Plus if he can make the playoffs with a roster penalty like option B or C above, more power to him.

I appreciate the leniency of the punishment and once again I apologize for the headaches.

The punishment I wanted to see handed down from the get go.
Good job, committee
And Papz

wouldnt mind trading Jay Bruce for a stud minor leaguer. Anyone looking for some OF help?

i like him as a player but not in that park.

I agree with the punishment. Giving 12-0 wins to 4 teams, myself included, would be wrong.
