Juju is going to be a problem

If you don't own him, that is.

JuJu now has four straight 100-yard receiving games in the regular season dating back to last year, matching the longest streak Antonio Brown has ever had in his career (twice). The franchise record is six by Mike Wallace.

This offense can sustain 3 number 1s. JuJu is a every week start as a high floor #2 with every week #1 upside. I'm trying to not get ahead of myself, but I may be underselling him.

I'm just repeating what hear on tv from the "experts" but they're all saying that JuJu is a WR1 in 12 team league or larger.

He goes as Big Ben goes. If Ben has a bad game I still think AB will get his. I can’t say the same for JuJu even though I own him in every league

SO I just checked it to see where I'd put him.
I'd still take these guys over him in no particular order
Brown
Green
OBJ
Hopkins
Julio
Adams
Evans
Allen
Hill..
Then he's at the level of Diggs, Thielen, Hilton. shite he's probably ranked wr 9-16 rest of season. He's gonna get steady production with how much he runs routes out of the slot. He's never getting doubled

Ben seems to be looking for him right now. I feel like a major over correction coming for AB. 16 catches for 230 yards and 3 TD kind of day.

As *bell goes
Considerably more touches to go around. Bell averaged 27 touches a game last year, remember
JuJu Smith-Schuster’s updated receiving lines in games without Le’Veon Bell:
- 9/141/1 (10 targets)
- 5/119 (11 targets)
- 13/121/1 (19 targets)
- 9/116 (11 targets)
In this span, JuJu averages 9 receptions and 124.3 yards (12.8 targets) per game when Bell is out.

Connor has touches of 36, 13 and 20. That's at least kind of similar, no?

That’s a pretty big difference in both directions.
Bell was the 2nd highest targeted receciver behind AB, 22 targets ahead of the 3rd guy. That’s like a team losing its WR2

This is interesting

#Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster’s receiving line over his last 16 games:
85/1,273/8.
He’s scored a touchdown and/or cleared 100 yards in 7 straight games.

It is the same thing. Conner has been just as heavily used as Bell.
Juju has 7 straight games of 100 yards or a touchdown. Over half of those games Bell played.
Gyno’s theory holds no water.

Yes, in week 1. 36 touches for Conner. Which was also JJS lowest output in targets, yards, and receptions this season
Conners next two games of 13 and 20 touches isn’t being used as heavily as a guy avg 27 touches a game
JSS sees 19 targets the game Conner touches it 13 times and 11 targets the game Conner touches it 11 times

Maybe you’re confused, but I didn’t post a theory
JJS last 8 G of 2017 coinciding with his big breakout game week 8, including playoff game
7.25 targets per G
86.4 yards per G
5.5 catches per G
.6 TDs per G
Vs
JJS this season without Bell
12.8 targets per G
124.3 yards per G
9 receptions per G
.3 TD per G
This is not a theory nor is it a knock on JSS. This is simply the numbers and i invite you to refute them if desired

So, as someone that has Bell, Conner and JuJu, you're saying I should be praying for a Bell trade. I'm not convinced it's going to happen, but we'll see. Sounds like a very difficult trade to pull off from what I've been seeing.

Of course, in a perfect world bell gets traded
But Conner/juju and bell/juju aren’t much difference if you view them as 1. Juju will score more with Conner and Bell will score a little more with juju. But together I’d venture to guess the total output is similar
