I remember Les dogging him for having the worst team in the league when Redd and I joined. Back then Rick was a regular in the playoffs.

My wife bought this NG and told me to read this story about a guy that had a parapalegic dog and took it hiking to Alaska....she said it was so cool and inspiring.
Apparently she didnt read the part where the guy ahd to put his dog down at the end of the journet....and there was a photo of it...

he did have the worst team in year 1.
i dont think i ever claimed he was the absolute worst though

I decided in year 1 to build a team for the long term since it was a keeper league. Had a bunch of young players and finished in last. Broke even in the second year and playoffs every year since. Tried to win right away in RW just to mix it up, made playoffs, but didn't like the direction so went long term again...feel like I got a little off message with the kemp trade tho.
Shoulda won last year but was distracted just enough by work to miss an out.
This is by far the most interesting collective of bald, fat, driver wearing, youth I've ever interacted with.
