I am happy that I got caught 0 times up-bidding players
Posted on 8/21/17 at 10:13 am to SlowFlowPro
I got caught with Benjamin, thinking Boom loves CAR too much
Had plans to buy another $40+ WR, but ended up with him and Jarvis

Prerry sure we're gonna get another MVP kinda season outta cam this year. Mccaffery is gonna be the move the chains guy they really need.

Rosters are loaded on MFL. Look and see if your rosters are correct.
You can add / drop players. I can't freeze all of them, so right now it's a free for all. Anyone you drop will go to waivers and can be claimed via the next waiver wire.

IDK why I can't update the OP with the tiger screen shot.

there's a few outliers (michael thomas) but I don't see a huge discrepancy in prices between the leagues

Im not sure why Bro let McFadden go for $4 when he invested $38 in Zeke, but Ill take it

wouldn't mind rolling the dice on zeke if there was a strength elsewhere to keep him afloat.....don't particularly care for miller or montgomery, he's got one fringe upper tier player in Hilton, tough going in this format

I just don't think he's very good is all. He'll be serviceable until Zeke gets back, but I just wasn't interested.
He'll probably prove me wrong, though

tough going in this format
I don't disagree, but being top heavy in this format is risky. A lot of dependence on nailing a FA pickup and no injuries.
I've played in a similar league for 8 years.. ppr/6 pt QB TD/ hybrid scoring/extra flex.
Saying that, I went pretty top heavy in that draft on Saturday - OBJ, Pryor, AJ Green, & M Thomas and complete garbage after that.
There are different ways to skin a cat

that football guys site is retarded
just stating it for the record. their "rate my team" function is insanity
It's an unbiased review of rosters, which may not be accurate in the end because it's a huge guessing game (and no idea on injuries), but it's fun to see an impartial review.
Of course, those who don't get a good review, shite on it.. **cough** Gyno **cough**

Coming out of the draft, in no particular order
this is where i say i dont really see a bad team, everyone has a chance yada yada yada as to not hurt anyone's feelings
Tier 1
SFP - nice high floor/high ceiling team. Only real weakness is TE
Pappy - Overall, I think I like Pappy's team the best as far as price per position. He spread the wealth around and got some strong names across the board
Dally - Grabbed a potential top 5 guy at each position. A lot of guys I like save for Tate and Moncrief. Team is built solidly for this format.
Tier 2
Boomy - People forget Cam was a top 5 QB almost every season. I like a baseline trio of Julio/Marshall/Gronk/Reed*/Woodhead providing a safe floor in this format
PCT - Strong trio at the top. Some question marks in there w Watkins/Perkins - if they can hit he will boost into top tier.
Deebz - D has enough there to get it done. DT/Alshon/Fitz has all done it before - if Alshon and DT can have bounce backs and stay healthy, D jumps up a bunch. Cook, Crowell, Anderson are a nice trio.
Drizz - Not huge on Mel Gordon/Hopkins/Crabtree but I think D did enough to in the other spots to make his team a threat. Rodgers keeps you in it every week, and Baldwin and Ertz are great floor guys. CMC will be wildcard
Tier 3
King James - This will be a team that has some boom or bust weeks w/ Cooks/Hill. Allen and Lev will be the floor guys that carries the load week to week. Luck's health will be something to watch
STD - Odell, healthy Russ, Olson are a good starting point. Not a fan of Howard at 46, but he should be decent enough. ARob will be the key here, he can boost up STD a lot. Not huge on FLex guys
VKC - it can work, im just not personally a fan of investing at RB with my 4 highest paid players due to their volatility year to year. That said, I do like Freeman, Hyde, and Murray enough. Was forced to throw darts at WR - Parker and Meredith has potential for nice return based on cost. At the end of the day, this is a roll of the dice that could pay off v nicely. If a RB goes down or doesnt perform, well..
Brody - Potential is there but just a lot of guys i personally dont like. Ryan regression candidate, Hilton w/out Luck possibly, Lam Miller some of the worst RB metrics last season, Edelman losing targets, of course Zeke. At the same time, I can write somewhat positive scripts for those guys I guess. Ty Mont and Diggs can provide nice floors if healthy, and I like Ebron to take another step this year.

Football Guys did not last year. Something like 70/60/50, and losing Keenan in W1 and never getting Charles to play sunk my team in 2016. I rolled the dice and crapped out early.
I didn't even use sheets this year. I loosely looked at some tiers, and set sights on Wilson, OBJ, a T2 WR, a T1/T2 RB, and a Top TE. I was aiming for Freeman at RB, but his price ran into the 50s so I backed off. There are only two guys I wanted that I did not get.
We will see how it goes in 3 weeks.
