Power Rankings mean nothing in this league because of Points Against. I take the top 6 teams and match them against the bottom 6 after the week, so that is probably what is throwing it off.

what i'm talking about is the actual set up with the league, the formula from which the winners are derived, and the pros and cons of that system.
you have said nothing to disprove my argument, only directed things towards my specific case, which i'm not even arguing about.

i was just using you as an example. Do you understand/agree with what I'm saying the difference is between our format and a pure H2H format?

you've mentioned more than once in your last few posts about you "having no chance to win or compete".
Then went on to talk about how the scoring format puts you in an even deeper hole.
So i don't see how it is irrelevant. Your situation is very relevant, especially when you keep saying you don't/haven't had a shot/chance to compete, with the scoring format being a big part of that.
I am not trying to argue with you just to argue. Had you put this much effort into your team the first few weeks we may not even have had this discussion for the 2nd time in 3 weeks.

But you never know, Nobes could be 6 one week and you might have the opportunity to knock him down to 7th and give him a loss.
ETA: And if that had happened earlier this season I would be in the playoffs instead of him right now. Not that I'm bitching, I need to take care of my team and nothing else will matter.

my discussion applies to bottom feeder teams in the leagues. just because i happen to be one of them, has nothing to do with it, and in no way refutes my argument.

do you think we sit here every week and talk about the scoring of this league like this just for fun?
it's week 8, everyone knows the ins and outs and the reasoning behind why we score like this.

we are 7 weeks in and karma
hasn't had a full roster over 1/2 the weeks.
hasn't used the #1 waiver wire position in over a month.
hasn't tried to make any trade whatsoever.
didn't make a waiver move in the 1st 4 weeks.
I guess he's a damn fortune teller if he thinks he had zero chance of competing w/o doing any of the above 4 things

I was 0-3 this year and didn't quit .
Hell... in the first tdbbl year I was last like 8 weeks in...and we all know how that ended.
