Are you a contender this year? That’s a big factor.

I wouldn’t do that even if you’re a contender

I don’t follow how a contender factors in. Dobbins is a 6th round startup pick and Mixon is an 8th round startup pick. If you trade below market value, you are giving up the “plus” in value gain when you are right and you are penalized the “plus” in losing value if you are wrong, and we are all wrong often.

Mixon appears on the way out, he was losing time late last year and the bengals made it a priority to draft a rb this year

I would only buy Mixon for cheap for instance I got him for a late 2nd rd pick this year. Sell high, buy cheap. He’s definitely not worth giving up Dobbins for.

Pre-week 10 injury he was between 65% to 83% snaps every game, averaging 72%. 21 touches a game.

Then when he came back from injury in week 14 his snaps ranged from 35% - 64%, averaging 53%. 16.9 touches a game. That's a meaningful drop-off.

I can't agree with this. Spending a 5th round pick is pretty much the opposite of making something a priority.

We'll see if they bring in some vet competition or his legal status gets hazy, but as it stands I think you can project Mixon for 16-19 touches a game on a very good offense. That's still a solid dynasty asset.

Owner is talking about team’s plans for Mixon, knowing he has legal troubles. That seems like the opposite of the way out. Agree with Dallas that most rookies drafted in the 5th or later aren’t even expected to make the team.
