Burton was frequently open, but whenever Trubisky targeted him he was either inaccurate or waited way too long to throw and gave the DB a chance to make a play. Hopefully Nagy can coach him to anticipate these routes and go downfield more.

I’m waiting to see the data from that game, but I think hill did most of the work after the catch. Hill is lethal
Chargers were missing their two defenders in Verrette and Bosa, Hayward had a hammy, they lost Tre Boston to FA, Derwin James is a rookie. Not to take anything away from Hill, that’s not the Chargers D people expected

From what I saw, Gordon was getting the desperation snaps. When I was checking box scores, Ekeler had 5 catches at a point in the game when it was close still.
Chart his catches by quarter for me. Or I can when I get home from work.
I can’t see why he won’t get a lot of passing down snaps.

That he’s going to cut into Gordon’s workload particularly in the air. Didn’t happen yesterday but every time he touches the ball, good things are happening

It’s hard to gauge everyone because it’s just week 1... by week 4 we will have a better understanding how things will play out.
