Baldwin practiced again today. Told the media that he's frustrated because he feels like they're holding him back. He feels he's ready to go.

As a Kittle and Brieda owner, that target share looks awesome to me.

I've got decide if I can start Shepard over any of the following starters in .5 PPR:

James Conner vs Baltimore
Jordan Howard vs Tampa
Gio Bernard at Atlanta
Juju vs Baltimore
Manny Sanders vs KC

Yep. That's the dilemma. I have Conners in my flex since he's the late game. After the 12 o'clock games if I feel that I need a home run play, I may sub in Shepherd. It crossed my mind to sit Howard and flex Shepherd, but I just can't sit him with that matchup.

I don't see how you can sit Conner. I'd say if you think you need a ceiling play go with Shep, but if you need a consistency/floor play go with White.

TB is 5th in the league in rushing production allowed and Howard is plodding along at 2.5 ypc over his last 38 carries (2 games). Gonna take him 30 carries to pop 100, assume he falls in the EZ. Meh sheppard has an easier shot at 100 and touch plus some

Gonna point out - Goff threw all of his TDs over the top on blown coverage. Mostly blown man coverage where they isolated a LB on a receiver. Or blown over the top bc Trae Waynes misjudged his own speed. He has 4.31 speed and got beat off the blocks multiple times with a 5-10 yard cushion

Looked like Vikings set their priorities on stopping Gurley, bc they had too many LBs on the field til the 2nd half or even later. Those LBs kept getting beat. And I rarely saw Goff even look towards Xavier Rhodes. But Rhodes stays on one side of the field so Goff just threw the other way or to the slot

There’s some material there for a defense to try and game plan around. A D playing a Belichick style bend-but-don’t-break should limit the over the top stuff and force Goff to throw into underneath coverage or Gurley to carry the game. I’d rather give Gurley the chance and limit long runs and hope to force Goff into errant throws on 3rd and short or medium

I thought about that too, G. According to the ESPN app, TB is 27th vs RBs in fantasy points and I suspect the Bears will win and he will get the volume. But, after playing vs Cousins last night I'm gonna need the ceiling play and will probably flex Shep now. Thanks for the input.

Aaron Rodgers said in an interview that basically Aaron Jones is their best back and that he does things that no other back they've had can do since Ryan Grant. Said they need to find ways to get 33 the ball. This pleases me.
