It's way better on draft ,if you can find it. Pretty much just taste like Turbodog in the bottle

Doubledog is probably the best that Abita has offered in a bottle yet. Maybe it could use a little more potency in the vanilla taste, but I think it is right on.

I will also agree that Abita needs to release some of their selects in bottles.

Had it at the Bulldog on magazine a few months back. It was before they decided to bottle it.
I believe they called it something else

Underwhelming as hell.

So, you're saying it stacks up to the rest of Abita's offerings?

Dude, unless Whole Foods sold a shite ton of bottles, there should still be some at Whole Foods. You are looking for a 22 oz bottle right and not a 6 pack?

Doesn't matter, I'll take either.

Hell, Albertsons in Lake Charles has it. That means everyone has it. I mean everyone.

I got it at Albertson's on Perkins. Like I've said before, of Abita's offerings it's now my fave.

I tried some this evening at a beer tasting that included all abitas. I thought it was great. Better than the Turbo Dog, and it almost tasted like root beer to me. I'll definitely be looking for a bottle or two.

I've seen it pretty much everywhere in BR. It's only sold in 22oz bombers, so if you're looking for a 6-pack, you won't have any luck.

Read a pretty accurate review of it online, pretty much summed up my thoughts.

most of the hate here isn't for the beer, it's for abita's consistent averageness

like how would you feel if your kid had a 130 IQ but kept bringing home C's? There's nothing wrong with a C in and of itself, but you just know the kid could do so much better.
