It's been a several years since I lived in BR...But I used to love a good ole bacon cheese burger from George's on Perkins.

My favorite burgers in BR:

1. Tramonte's
2. Riverside Patty (make sure you tell them to cook it medium)
3. The Times

For the OP, my wife loves the Copeland's burger on the croissant.

Let's see....great meat formed by hand, properly seasoned, cooked perfectly as ordered. Then you have a great, fresh sourdough bun with a touch of sweetness. The bun is slightly toasted. Next, you add quality ingredients that they welcome you to interchange as needed.

You are right. Mason's is nothing special.

Once you've been disappointed in a resturant multiple times, it's hard to trust opinions.

FWIW, I normally don't resturants and order a burger, unless it's a burger resturant. It'd be like me going to Ralph and Kacco's and getting chicken.
