And the only "wings" they have is when you order the fried chicken dinner - you get 4 pieces, only one wing. Shows you they don't know shite.

Agreed, the meat is way over seasoned with some kinda foreign seasoning that taste like shite.

Agree to disagree, I am not saying they are the best in Lafayette but IMHO they don't suck. Btw I hear Jefferson Street Pub has a good burger, can anyone confirm?

I like Fat Pat's wings. But Fat Pat's on Westmark, not the shitty Fat Pat's on Verot.

And while I'm not a big fan of the scene at La Fonda's, people definitely think it's cool to hate on the food there.

All I needed to here was that they only cook them well

Eta: bun and what they dress it with are good though

They are pretty good. Pack the punch, so that's good. I like more tequila than everclear though.

La Fonda haters are everywhere in laffy. I've been a few times and the food is very good. I think people shite on the place just to be cool.

If you think the food is "very good" you have a questionable sense of taste. I've had plenty of "good times" at La Fonda, but the food is lacking to say the least.

Hooters.
Use to be WOW

They both suck, WOW was even worse than Hooters.

Those Hookd Up wings look good. For a quick place Wing Stop beats Hooters any day.

It's a social 'to be seen at' place as posted earlier. "The food is very good", maybe if you're drunk. I guess we'll get another "fried rabbit" is good. The 'Tex-Mex' there is no better than the other chain Tex-Mex restaurants around the area.

For you hamburger guys, I heard that the Silver Slipper in Leonville is GREAT. Will give it a shot in next couple weeks.

Here are the haters.

Agave is the only Mexican in Laffy that has been better. Maybe there is a hidden gem, but there isn't a much better option. I lived in Houston. If people in Houston shite on the place, I wouldn't disagree, but there isn't any significantly better spot in Laffy.

Everyone talks about the rabbit. It was good, at best. It really tells me how much shite is just parroted. Haven't had the fried chicken yet.

I've intentionally stayed sober to make sure it wasn't the booze. The food is good.

As far as my palate, I guarantee that I am top tier on this board in all of food and wine. I really love Mexican food. I'm probably top 5 on Mexican. La Fonda has good food. Not great or amazing, but very good food.

Until they trot out the store bought tortillas, that kills the whole deal ! They do have some good dishes though, don't know why they don't make their own. Then I'd agree they would be the best in Laffy.
