I'll throw a Joe Namath out here...I guarantee you'll love it and you'll switch. There's just no reason to spend $65 for the same amount of Goose when Sob rates higher. Everyone I've given it to has converted.

It was recommended to me from a guy at Martin's Wine Cellar.

Well, to be honest I never buy grey goose and only buy the other PREMIUM stuff when its on sale. I just looked and they have this at Bevmo out here for $21. I will give it a shot!!

And yes, even in a bloody mary, you can still tell crap vodka from excellent vodka.

There's really no way to settle this discussion so just go ahead and keep on buying whatever it is that you prefer.

I've never been a big fan of goose, but I still keep it at my house because a lot of people like to drink it.

Start with Zing-Zang.

Get a bamboo skewer and spear it with 2 dz. Louisiana crawfish tails and sprinkle with your favorite Cajun/Creole seasoning.

Trappey's pickled okra

Get olives and pickled garnishes from LINK ]Santa Barbara Olive Co.[/link. They have killer stuffed olives in addition to asparagus, green beans, mushrooms, tiny corn, and cocktail onions.

If you're supplying Goose for the friends...buy Sobieski or 1/4 of the price and then just pour it in the Goose bottle and they'll never know the difference.
