New orleans ice cream company is much better than blue bell...
Blue bell Creole cream cheese ice cream has been around for about 5 years....its a rotating flavor and it's only SOLD in LOUISIANA.....

My wife was having a cup of the Blue Bell Creole Cream Cheese last night, so I had a taste. I didn't care for it by itself, but told her it would probably be really nice with strawberries. The ice cream by itself had a tartness that I didn't care for.

I love it, wish it was "cheesier" though!

I have given NO ice cream multiple tries but everytime it is icy and looks like it has been unfrozen multiple times. Gave up on them.

That's not the ice cream company's fault that's a grocer/vender problem.

Yeah, NO ice cream has low overrun, so it doesn't have all the air whipped into it like cheap brands do. The air acts like insulation, so the higher fat content/less overrun ultra premium brands will melt faster than cheap brands. If handled poorly, NO ice cream will melt on you.
They spend a lot of money and effort to make it like that, though, because it's got a superior mouthfeel and flavor compared to less premium ice creams, so they wouldn't waste their time making it like that only to immediately turn around and ruin it. I can almost 100% guarantee you that it didn't come off of the delivery truck like that. Either it melted and refroze at the store or it melted on the way from store to home freezer and refroze. Somewhere along the way it was mishandled.
EDIT: tigers1956 is right. I misspoke and meant to say there's no way it comes from the creamery like that. The vendor could mishandle it if the creamery doesn't do its own distribution, but I have no idea how they distribute.

It's a vendor problem....getting checked in at stores in a timely manner is a real problem....WALMART is the worst...they will let it get soft and don't really care
That's why I don't buy frozen food at WAL-MART anymore...they don't check in vendors quickly and they let frozen product sit out too long before putting it in the back freezer or the case
AND YES I do work in the grocery business but not for WALMART
