Did you do the 'reservations only' dining room as well?

Pretty sure you got to dress nice in the Supper Club. You actually have to pay 30.00 bucks to eat there.

Here's the 4 bottles we are going to bring on:
1. Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc
2. Cakebread Chardonnay
3. Permutations Pinot Noir (new find 93 rating)
4. Fransican Cabernet Sauvignon

Any other suggestions?

Geauxdaddy88 those are great choices. Kim Crawford also makes a great Pinot Noir.

I also suggest 14 Hands Cabernet and Chateau St. Michelle Chardonnay.

If you like a dessert wine, the Banfi Rosa Regali is PHENOMENAL with the flourless (moulten) chocolate cake!

I didnt last time but next time I may try it.. Very good looking USDA Prime steaks. What I dont know is if they let you get more than one entree like the dining room does. For 30 dollars its not that bad.

The stewards live off of their tips and I would find it hard to believe that a steward would report someone for bringing liquor and risk losing their tip.

My experience has been that the stewards couldn't care less what goes on in your room. They care about their tip and making sure that you are taken care of and have a good time.

I agree with this....the stewart would be the last person to say anything....He wants that tip.
I have left booze out in the room on every trip and never had a problem...You really sneak the booze on to help with the bar bill not eliminate it...And they will not take any booze away you bring on from ports of call...so load up.

Yes, but its the point that I have already paid over $1000 to not have to pay extra for food...and I can get a good steak anywhere....

Also, I read 1 bottle of wine each- has this changed??

Not going to find a 24 oz USDA prime porterhouse with the rest of that meal for 30 dollars anywhere. But I understand what you are saying. The food in the reg dining room that was included was good enough for me. I was actually rather impressed with Carnival's food offerings. Was not the best food in the world but it was pretty solid on most items. Plus it was great that you could order as much as you wanted so if you didnt like something you could order something else.

But really, you are paying more than $30- b/c the price of the food is included in the price of the cruise...
Plus 1- I can't eat 24 oz of steak anyway and 2- I get free steak b/c I am in sales and take people to lunch/dinner

I love red bull and vodka. That's what we are sneaking in mouthwash bottles. I heard the bull was $6 a can. Screw that.

That's fine. You've crunched the numbers and have decided that it is not worth it to you. My wife and I like the more "fine dining" experience, less hurried atmosphere and more attention, so we have decided that we do the +30 a couple of times on a week-long cruise. Different strokes for different folks.
