Shearwater is Walter Anderson's family. They have been there forever. We have a single plate, paid $150 maybe 20 years ago, now worth $600.00. It was done by Chris Stebly, who is not doing pottery for the family any more.

Our Plate

If I had the money, I would buy a 12 place setting of Shearwater dishes.

I've done it now with ground chicken, ground turkey, and Rouse's green onion chicken sausage.
The chicken sausage is basically just chicken chunks with seasoning, but it was without a doubt the best dish of the three.

No Italian cook worthy of their apron should ever be satisfied without knowledge of one or more good reliable Parmesan dishes.

This rules out the entire nation of Italy, where American "Parmesan" dishes are unknown.
