I put lime on my Mexican Street Corn too. Forgot to type it above.

You can edit your recipe. This sounds great. I already cut and pasted to my notes. Thanks, I am going to try when corn looks good at store.

Shuck ears and remove as many silks as I can. rinse in water and place on foil. add a pat of butter and a little salt. Wrap and place n hot grill or in the toaster oven (At 400+ degrees) if the weather is bad. Cook at least ten minutes, turn and cook another five to ten. I want to hear sizzle when I turn it.

I want it to look like this when finished:

Some people swear by putting mayonnaise on their grilled cobs.

Sounds terrible.

Lupe Tortilla in Houston (at least that's where I had it) does this.

Doesn't sound great, but it was absolutely delicious.

Mayo then sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. It's actually pretty common.

No idea. They serve it at a lot of Mexican joints as well.

Ballsack serves it too.

This plus some salt and pepper is all I do. Comes out delicious every time.

Elotes - Mexican Street corn

I modify by adding a little chipotle/adobo to the mayo:
