NC too low. Asheville alone is better than half the states ranked above NC.

Mississippi shouldn't be dead last. Lazy Magnolia, Southern Prohibition and Crooked Letter are good breweries. Matter of fact, I would put them just a notch behind Louisiana.
And Georgia and Texas should be higher.

The only argument against VT is distribution. You tell me I can go anywhere in the country and drink all the beer without paying, I'm not going to CA. CA has quantity, and quantity thst is pretty quality, but I'll tske the lesser quantity and better quality of VT every single day.

You'd be surprised at how small those breweries in VT are. The scarcity of the beer makes it more desirable. If FW only brewed a couple hundred cases of Double Jack a month, it would have a cult following like Heady.

Its great beer, but better than CA? I'd take CA and OR.

Maybe. I really like Double Jack. It's great. I suppose to distinguish between the two I'd need to do a blind side-by-side. But Heady is just exquisite. It really blew my mind. I agree we are talking degrees of greatness. But the thing is, it's not just The Alchemist. I'd take steady access to Hill Farmstead and Lawson's over almost anything in the country. Everything I've had from Hill Farmstead, admittedly only 3 brews, has made me feel funny in the pants region. Just fantastic stuff.

In a heartbeat, without question, every time.
