Agreed, Jax. They had a Hop Nation shirt a few months ago that I'm regretting not buying. From the Nike line. I'd have worn that shirt until it had holes.

Like this? No v-neck option, though.

2-3BD were Dale's pale ale
LBD: real ale brown ale

All during a fantasy draft. Looking like 2 championships this year, 1 in each league

I agree with KJI. Ready for football. Can't wait for Saturday. Still can't believe I'll be in Vegas for this weekend instead of htown, where I live. Go figure.

Any local brews I should seek out in Vegas? Planning to walk from MGM to The Pub. Looks like a solid beer bar.

I now own the shirt for all future FBD meet and greets. 30 bucks for a t-shirt. Without a V. I feel trashy.

If you're hanging around the BR Krewe, you're drinking beer from the PNW...

I'm looking for a second member to join the Portland Krewe...

Had a Pipeworks Game of Jones with rutiger and now a Prairie wine barrel noir while packing for Houston. OK, really just dusting off the golf clubs to be sure there are still 14 of them, and they aren't rusted through.

The girlfriend and I have spun numerous fantasies about tying the knot and promptly moving to the PNW. It's actually a good decision for us in regards to what we do. Buuuuut she and I are locked in to our respect locations for another two years. Buzzkill.

That's the median. It is not overcast 98% of the time. Most days we get at least some sun. We have been known to go days with no sun, though. We do get a lot of cool clouds in the mountains, too.

I would recommend Portland over Seattle. Portland is more liveable (less traffic and lower cost) and has better beer.

Lots of cool smaller toms around the PNW. Bend, Astoria, Walla Walla, Olympia, Port Townsend, Newport, etc...

I feel like people that harp on the weather there have never been there. Each time I visited I loved it. Was there rain? Sure. It rains everywhere.

And if you bitch about rain, GTFO NOLA. There are practically daily showers all summer long. Plus oppressive humidity.

ETA: Portland is the dream. Most of my time has been spent in Vancouver, where slipping down to Portland was just assumed. We have some close family friends that live around there and we visit regularly. When I lived at home I spent about a week every summer there. I miss going on "business trips" now that I'm independent. Costs a lot more to travel when you're footing the bill and not riding frequent flyer miles

PNW is amazing. Spent some time there in 06-07 and loved every minute of it. If it weren't for some family obligations, the wife and I probably would have moved up there permanently. I would definitely recommend at least taking a trip if you are thinking about it.

I think this is 2 to last BD

Just the nose on this makes me happy. So nutty. This is good. Flavors are definitely there.

BDs tonight

Highlights were the BA Boris, Wicked Weed Genesis, and Bruery Rue D'Floyd.

Rue D'Floyd is probably the best stout/porter I've had from The Bruery. Incredible balance of flavors.

Shipping out some Genesis next week to LST and Zappas. Hopefully I can suplement their boxes with some Ghost.
