Saw this article in NOLa.com on new pizza place in NOLa - Brooklyn style pizza. Has anyone given it a try?

Interesting. I always love a good pie place. Down the street from the Downtown Rouse's

I'll check them out in a few weeks. Hopefully their pies aren't as outrageously priced as St.Pizza

Grabbed a slice over the weekend. It was really good. Expensive for a slice but good.

A new bakery called Batter opened up across the street from them on Saturday. Looks like its original location is in Hammond..

Another connection to the editor hype place.

Not bad, but fricking crazy price for a decent slice.

Just looked at the prices. They are somehow more expensive than St.Pizza. Lol

They are really good. I think the price is still too high. But I have still been there several times.

This places prices are even higher it appears.

The serving size is monstrous. I thought the price was high until I ordered a whole pie

When you take a shite position you have to expect downvotes.

St Pizza is lurking around the top 5 pizzas in NOLA, but paying $36/pie is insane no matter how good.

Like justifying $25 for a roast beef poboy.

It’s not lurking it is. It’s probably the best pizza in Nola.

I don’t complain about the price of goods when it is worth it. I will always pay for quality,

It’s a huge pie with +++ Ingredients. They cook the crust to perfection. The quality control really is outstanding. Go in and watch them work

It is 3 meals for couple and two for a small family. $36 is not that crazy considering.

That's like 13 dollars more than Pizza Delicious. While it may be a little better than Pizza D (other things like Pasta at Pizza D are way better), its not enough of a difference to justify that price imo.

But judging by what Forbidden is doing, maybe that's just what it costs these days
