Oak Oven in Harahan has great pizza. And the pies are around $17. Feeds 2-3 easy.

Look, I've been to Oak Oven. Its pretty good especially for the area.

Its not even close to the places we have mentioned in my opinion.

Also obviously the cost of doing business on Mag Street is substantially more so i do get some price difference

I really enjoy St. Pizza especially with Patron Saint being right next door. I can order a pizza and eat it next door at Patron Saint then get some bottles to go. It's my way of justifying the price at least

The bottles of wine at Patron Saint are actually VERY affordable. They do a great job with that.

Its an interesting dichotomy

Oh I completely agree. The price and selection are solid there. The wine helps me get over the cost of the pie. Maybe St. Pizza is subsidizing some of Patron Saint.

I do agree with Lester that St. Pizza is really consistent easily the most consistent in town

Places are undercutting them by almost $10/pie producing just as quality.

They just don't have owners with connects to buy into NYT Top 10 pizza.

At least it seems they changed their rules about consuming slices "onsite"

First couple times we grabbed slices there was a "to-go only" for slices. So you weren't allowed to grab a seat unless you were getting a whole pie.

Was really strange.

why is that strange?
slices are to-go only and sold out of a window, the dining room is for sit down dining off the entire menu including whole pies

Guess I just find slices as to-go only strange when you have a large dining room.

Like I said, seems like they changed some of it.

To-go slices twice. Dine in once. Someone brought a whole pie to a get together as well.

Usually end up at Zee's or NOLA for parking or entertainment purposes.

Pizza D once a month or so for work lunches. And Nola Mia every few months.

Godfathers is $28 for a large pizza and it's a chain.

a lot of people getting pizza raped and just out there taking it.

Lester Earl willing to pay $50/pizza to watch his old lady enjoy the pizza while he just sits by and appreciates the size.
