unexpected stayover in NOLA Sunday, only two of us so no big party to contend with. Looking for a nice dinner spot, was looking for fine dining, but I'll settle for just plain good if not fancy. Many of my usual landing spots either not open at all or not open for dinner. Commander's booked unfortunately. I suppose could pivot to a late lunch, but would rather dinner. Thanks for any help and recommendatons.

Looking at Resy, there are a ton of fine options to suit you. If you want to move away from these boring old guard recommendations, may I suggest:

Paladar 511
Palm & Pine
Costera
Compere Lapin
Mamou
Rosedale
Hungry eyes
