How is that place? It looks like a dump and it's right by popeyes and canes.

It was not a dump whatsoever...It was a clean place to eat and I thought the food was really good...I am a Cane's fan, but I would prefer going to Strips if I had the choice. Popeyes used to be tops on my list, but I am sick and tired of them fricking up my order EVERY time I go there...and oh yeah, they should remove onion rings from their menu because they never have them!

Was it crowded when you went? Everytime I pass by there's no one there. It might be good but I don't see it staying open for the long-term.

I love Popeye's tenders. I don't care for Cane's. I find they are inconsistent and usually soggy with grease.

Popeye's wrap is money. Really good tortilla with 2 spicy strips and red beans and rice in it...and a bargain at $1.50. I also get some mashed taters with gravy to dip it in.

I agree on the wrap dipped in the taters and gravy. Stuff is $$$$$$$$$$$

Until recently, I'd never found the spicy strips around Gonzales. But, last week I stopped on my way home and the lady asked if I wanted my strips spicy or mild. Got the Spicy ones and they were damn good.

im probably going to lose a lot of cred with this statement, but my fav chicken fingers can be had from CHURCH's .... if you are lucky to order them when they are out, you can actually watch them cut fresh white meat, batter them, and fry them on the spot...they are excellent
